Text: Isaiah 58; Proverbs 1

Solomon penned three things about Wisdom: It cries in the streets (1:20), it has built a house (9:1), and it is too high for a fool (24:7). Because Wisdom cannot be attained alone, she wails in the streets to break the yokes of the simple (seducible) ones and builds a house to destroy the yokes of the spiritually homeless.

To the Corinthians Paul writes, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30 KJV). Let the Holy Spirit anoint your eyes to see all those around you burdened under the yoke of the seducer, plowing in their vagrant field and sowing seeds of scorn. Pray earnestly they would come to know Wisdom—Jesus Christ—and break the yoke of sin.
