Text: Isaiah 58; Psalm 43

The next two days offer a reprieve from the spiritual toil of the last week as we look forward with great expectation for the results promised by the prophet. “Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard” (Isaiah 58:8 ESV).

Offer thanksgiving to the Lord for His abundant mercy and grace that has covered you up to now—nearly half-way through the appointed fast. Accept his provision and purpose to let your light shine brightly to those whom you contact every day.
